We’ve officially kicked off Mental Health Awareness Month on campus! Today, we were honored to host Dr. Arthur and her team from the Mental Health Authority for an insightful session with our secondary school students.
Did you know that 1 in 5 adolescents faces a mental health disorder each year? That’s why early intervention and open conversations are key. Dr. Arthur and her team emphasized the importance of being mindful of our mental health and using the right coping mechanisms to navigate challenges.
A big thank you to our Counseling Department, in collaboration with the Leadership and Chaplaincy Departments, for organizing this crucial event. It’s empowering to see our young leaders equipped to prioritize their mental well-being and take charge of their mental health journey.
